Roxas/Sora one-shot: The Blue-Eyed Boys Title: The Blue-Eyed Boys -s-o- He had first noticed him in the shadows, then in the back of the classes and in the crowds. Their eyes had locked and electricity had sparkled between them. At first, that was all they had shared, just simple looks, a strange connection, and then they went on with their different routines, following their own friends. They had nothing in common, except that they were boys who liked other boys that wasn’t much of a norm in their school. They were dangerous because they were different and could possibility be excluded from their friends because of that. And yet, between strangers, between people of the opposite worlds, they knew each other’s most terrible secret. Maybe that was what had connected them together, both of them knowing the fact that they could never be who they truly were except in each other’s presence-- --if they ever had the guts to leave their social positions. -r-a- He saw him hanging around an alley. The blond was leaning against the gritty, dirty wall, hands stuffed in his baggy gray and black pants pockets. A cigarette dangled on his lips and his ocean blue eyes were glazed. The brunet walked towards him, as though curious, but then stopped. The blond took the cigarette from his mouth and a puff of smoke lingered in the air. He grinned lazily at the brunet and extended a hand. “Wanna try?” The way he had said it was so full of taunting and daring. Peer pressure was already closing around the brunet and choking his neck. The brunet shrugged and leaned next to the blond. “Sure.” They stayed there, smoking and looking and hanging out. The brunet had coughed a few times because he wasn’t used to the smoke killing his lungs. Nothing else went about in that dark alley because who would ever try to go there? Those who had went there had something to hide. -r-o- He had noticed him immediately. He doubted anybody had missed the brunet with his sky blue eyes, his bright, thousand watt smile and his adventurous and charming countenance that had drawn everybody, including himself, towards the gorgeous brunet. He had seen him chatting away in their classes and had seen him being the bringer of the crowds. What he didn’t know, when their eyes had locked, when a connection had formed between them, was who would make the first move. He would definitely do it because it was in his nature, but he wasn’t so sure about the brunet. That was why he had been surprised that the Other had found him in an alley, but that was alright because he had his own surprises. He couldn’t wait to show them to the Other. -s-o- Sometimes, he didn’t know why he was doing certain things even though he could make up the reasons for them later. He had found the blond in the least likely of places-- the beach, but the golden-haired boy wasn’t adorned in his regular clothes; he had black shorts. He suddenly licked his lips. The blond looked delectable, his body shining under the sun, drips of water sliding down and glistening on his skin. Absolutely gorgeous. He wondered if the blond had a couple of girls ask him out. He’d have to officially do that someday. “Hey,” he said softly, almost inaudibly. The blond looked at him, his gaze intense. “Hey.” He walked up to the blond; it had always been like that, he pursuing and the pursued one tempting him on. Dangerous. He couldn’t live that down. “What’s up?” he asked, blushing slightly at how his voice had sounded so rough and needy. The blond smirked at him and without warning, tackled him down to the sandy ground. They rolled over a few times, but in the end, he was the victor, since he was the one laying on top of the loser. The blond then wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him into a harsh first kiss. “The sky,” the kisser said with another smirk. -x-a-s- He was older than his Other. He could tell since he had effortlessly lured his Other in and had told him lies the Other had easily believed. God, if he was the heartless bastard the others had assumed he could have easily broken this gorgeous boy. But he never did, because he couldn’t bring himself to do it. They stared at each other often in school, had told each other messages through their body language like when they would bump and brush against each other as they passed by each other. If it was quick and rough, it meant that they needed to get to each other fast. If it was casual, then they would resume their private routines, hanging out and barely talking. Besides, he couldn’t really talk, especially not right now, with his Other pressing against him, already desperate and hard. He tried to calm the brunet, raining his face with soft, butterfly kisses. Then again, he was pretty desperate as well, his mouth then trailing down his Other’s neck. He sank his teeth into his Other’s skin, marking him as his. “Oh god…” -r-a- “Why do you follow me?” he asked, “I don’t have anything you truly want.” The brunet tilted his head to the side, confused. Great, another thing he couldn’t explain. If he tried to make up reasons for that, then he would be lying to himself. He did what he had done because he could. Wasn’t that enough? Wasn’t he being truthful? “Because…” the brunet tried to answer, “you’re…cool. I guess.” Never mind. That was sort of a lie. Because he didn’t need to be even more popular. He had lots of friends, some who he didn’t even want to be friends with anymore. “Cool?” the blond inquired and then laughed. “What are you talking about, I’m a Nobody.” The Nobody was right; he had his own friends, of course, but they were all of the fallen. The Nobodies didn’t care about school or themselves; they didn’t care to see how far they had sunken into the abyss of apathy. It was as though they had no hearts and lacked the ability to feel. “Yeah, well…” the brunet trailed off, and then he settled with a shrug. “I like you?” Another careless laugh. “That’s better, Sora. That’s much better.” -r-o-x- Roxas was watching him, as always. He smiled, just briefly, when it was announced that Sora had won another trophy for winning a couple of Blitzball games. He waited as Sora exited the class to get the trophy and then waited no more when he had returned. Their eyes locked again and for the first time in this school, he opened his mouth and said, “Congratulations, Sora.” He held out his hand, smiling fully now. Sora smiled back, happiness dancing in his eyes. He laughed lightly and took that hand. Warmth, exciting, exhilarating warmth rushed through his body and went straight to his groin. “Thank you,” Sora said gratefully. “Thank you very much.” They both knew that there were many pairs of eyes looking at them, some in surprise, shock and even disgust. Roxas decided that he didn’t care and he could tell by the way Sora sat next to him that he didn’t care either. As class began, Roxas leaned closer to Sora and reveled in the shiver that went through his Other as he whispered, “Who do you think are the crazy ones? Us or them?” Sora looked at him, giving Roxas a glimpse of the bite mark on his neck. He smiled mischievously. “Why are you asking me that question?” he whispered back. “Of course it’s them.” Roxas suddenly snickered. Sora laughed. “You’re right,” Roxas said softly. “Wanna hang out later?” “Sure,” Sora answered easily. And all was right in their world at last. -f-i-n- A/n: Inspired by real life and I tried to make the ending happy. X.x
