Not (FF7:DoC ficlet -- Rosso and Cloud)

Title: Not
Fandom: FF7: DOC
Author: Gothatheartholo
Characters: Rosso and Cloud (O_o you can even take this as Rosso/Cloud, if you want o___O)
Rating/Warning: PG
Disclaimer: I don’t own this.
Summary: Up into the air…
A/n: I was baffled by Rosso and Cloud’s fight, so I wrote this to explain it.

- n -

He rushed towards her and they flew up into the air. At first glance, he seemed easy to break, because he was such a pretty-looking darling with his blue-green eyes and his pale-pale face.

And then she felt the strike of his sword and again, and again.

And those eyes, they burned like hers, but of blue and green, of mako.

“Are you like us, darling?” she mused out loud as they retreated, landing on the ground swiftly. He was fast and strong and seemed very much fun to play with, but…

The blond said nothing, merely gazed at her with those same eyes and then--

BAM!

Their weapons clashed again, grinding into one another, her weapon screaming in the process. She pulled back, looking at him thoughtfully, smiling impishly and realized something rather important to her mission.

“You’re not my enemy,” she declared, and without another word, she twisted around and leapt away. He was fun and he was nice, but she had other people to kill, other people to break.

Vincent Valentine was next on her list.

- end -

A/n: ILU ROSSO even though I got stuck fighting you. @_@ I’ll admit it, I have a thing with evil women. WHYYYYYYY.

Yeah, this is my first DoC ficlet. =D
