Title: Always There
Fandom: YGO
Author: Gothatheartholo
Characters: Seto and Yuugi
Rating/Warning: PG
Disclaimer: I do not own or make money off YGO.
Summary: He was always there and Seto never knew why.
A/N: This is like the 170 words drabble version of what was supposed to be a mega long one-shot. I lost my inspiration when I saw that the pairing was actually flourishing without me. So, I figure, “LOL, no point of adding more fanfics because mine kind of sucks, o.o anyway”, but I’ll write this, for Tsunekipanda’s and for old time’s sake.

Always There
-.-
Three months after the pharaoh’s departure, it had happened.
Yuugi Motou had lost himself in the past.
Seto had found him a few times in the museum.
Yuugi would always look at the old tablet of the other half of himself.
Yuugi was always there and Seto never knew the real reason why.
Upon speculating, it was probably because Yuugi missed his other half.
Upon reasoning with himself, he figured that some things were just not meant to be forgotten.
But what was more ironic?
The fact that neither of them couldn’t move on from the past and live in the present?
Or the fact that they were here for what seemed to be the same reason and that Seto Kaiba was now standing by Yuugi’s side, gazing at the same tablet thoughtfully?
What were they doing? Were they mourning?
They said nothing to each other. What was felt was mutually understood: a deep sense of loss…
…of both a beloved friend and a respected rival.
-.-
Fin.

A/N: And there you have it. =D
