Kadaj stands firmly on the edge of a cliff and smirks.

When they had manifested into this miserable world, the first thing that came to his mind was to find mother, but the second thing was to cater to his undying curiosity.

Who is his blond brother?

He turns his head and he can almost hear it-- the Fenrir. It’s faint from far away, but it’s becoming louder and louder as his Nii-san drives towards his location. Kadaj decides to ignore it for a moment longer.

Even though he’s only been alive for a few months, he feels as though he’s been waiting for a long time. Two years, maybe.

And the moment Cloud passes by them, he alerts his brothers and orders them to go after him. He needs to test Cloud and play with him for a bit. He’ll make him suffer for the two years he has waited.

His eyes narrow at the thought. But who will meet Cloud?

Himself or…

He lets out a bitter laugh. Of course! He knows how this will all end and so, he’ll enjoy whatever time he has with his beloved, blond brother. They have so much in common.

“So much,” he whispers, smiling slyly. “I wonder who will break first.”
